Dubai is set to host the 32nd Arabian Travel Market (ATM) on Monday, April 28, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will feature over 2,800 exhibitors and attract more than 55,000 travel industry experts from 166 countries, showcasing the global tourism landscape.

This year's exhibition includes international exhibitors making up 67% of the participants, with the Middle East accounting for 17% of the total. Under the theme “Global Travel: Shaping the Future of Tourism through Enhanced Connectivity,” the ATM 2025 will explore how cross-border communication can redefine the future of travel.

The event will highlight how connectivity can foster a more sustainable and inclusive travel sector, a concept that will be thoroughly examined throughout the exhibition, from the valuable ATM conference to dedicated networking sessions.

Significant Growth

Daniyal Curtis, the Arabian Travel Market Director for the Middle East, stated, “We are witnessing remarkable growth in attendance and exhibitor participation at ATM 2025 in Dubai. We look forward to welcoming travel experts from various sectors, including leisure, business events, luxury travel, and corporate travel. To accommodate the increasing interest, we have added two new halls this year and will feature the ATM Conference across three main stages: the Global Stage, Future Stage, and Business Events Theatre." Curtis also expressed excitement for the IBTM@ATM event, a dedicated area for business events, along with the Travel Technologies showcase, underscoring the transformational role of technology in shaping the industry’s future.

Asia’s Rapid Growth

Asia is emerging as the fastest-growing region at ATM 2025, with exhibitors increasing their participation by 27% year-on-year. Factors contributing to this growth include enhanced regional connectivity and strengthening ties with international markets. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of Asian destinations such as Japan, Macau, the Maldives, Mauritius, South Korea, Thailand, and India, highlighting the region's rising influence in the global travel sector.

India's participation has surged by 41% this year, driven by a strong presence from exhibitors including the Ministry of Tourism and airlines like Air India and Air India Express. Regional tourism authorities from Goa, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh have also ramped up their participation. International markets account for over 52% of registered visitors, with attendees from the UAE and GCC countries contributing significantly, representing 48%. The UAE, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UK are the top five countries registered for the ATM 2025, showcasing the exhibition’s broad appeal in major global and regional markets.

Travel Technology

The Travel Technology Expo at ATM reflects the complete convergence of the travel sector with technology and innovation, featuring the largest number of products on display with an increase of over 26%. Running concurrently with ATM, the expo offers valuable insights into innovative technologies driving the travel and hospitality sectors, spanning Halls 1 and Zabeel Hall 3 this year. Additionally, the Travel Technology section will showcase a startup and innovation area, spotlighting the next generation of travel entrepreneurs through an immersive virtual reality experience that provides visitors with a fresh perspective on the potential within the industry. For the fourth consecutive year, the ATM will host a startup pitch competition, highlighting the most innovative minds in the Middle East.

New Events

Among the standout events at ATM 2025 is the launch of IBTM@ATM, a dedicated area designed to connect business event buyers with a wide array of exhibitors, including venues, hotels, convention bureaus, tourism authorities, and airlines. The core of this new event will be the Business Events Theatre, hosting a series of insightful sessions throughout the exhibition to explore strategies aimed at unlocking growth and opportunities in the corporate travel and events sector. The first day's key sessions will focus on how global events and festivals can drive socio-economic growth, featuring speakers from the International Congress and Convention Association, Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, and the International Association of Professional Congress Organizers.
