Dubai Taxi partners with Kabi to offer digital taxi booking services.
In a concerted effort to advance the smart mobility framework, "Dubai Taxi," in collaboration with its global partner "Bolt," and "Kabi," part of Al Ghurair Group, has embarked on a strategic partnership. This initiative aims to enhance transportation services through smart applications, providing a comprehensive experience that caters to both residents and visitors.
The announcement of this partnership was made at the agreement signing ceremony attended by Mansour Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi, and Badr Al Ghurair, CEO of Kabi under Al Ghurair Group.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in Dubai’s journey toward reinforcing an integrated smart transport system, contributing to improved user experiences.
Fleet Integration
Under this agreement, the fleets of both companies-comprising 6,200 taxis from Dubai Taxi and 3,680 taxis from Kabi-will be linked via the digital booking platforms “Bolt” and “Z.” This integration will expand the range of vehicles available for customers.
Enhanced Accessibility
Mansour Rahma Al Falasi emphasized that this strategic partnership represents a qualitative leap in accessibility to transport services via smart applications. He noted that this step aligns with Dubai's government objectives to convert 80% of taxi trips into electronic bookings. The taxi sector is experiencing steady growth, with a 7% increase expected in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, according to data from the Roads and Transport Authority.
Badr Al Ghurair remarked that this strategic alliance is pivotal for unifying efforts and leveraging accumulated expertise to serve both residents and visitors in innovative ways. He explained that integrating resources and enhancing them with cutting-edge technology will help establish new standards for excellence in efficiency, service quality, and sustainability.
