Dubai Police warns against fake online links offering misleading VIP packages for Global Village's new season, urging purchases only through authorized platforms.

In a continuous effort to safeguard the public from falling prey to online scams, Dubai Police has issued a warning about fraudulent links circulating on the internet and social media. These deceptive sites are promoting VIP packages for the new season of "Global Village" at enticingly false prices, aiming to lure victims and steal their money and data.

The authorities highlighted that this scam is an annual occurrence, leading individuals to fall victim to these counterfeit links. The fraudsters often replicate official pages to deceive unsuspecting individuals into thinking they are legitimate.

The General Command of Dubai Police emphasized the importance of purchasing Global Village tickets and packages through only official channels. These include the village's website, its smart application, or authorized sales outlets, ensuring this is the sole safe method to secure the rights of patrons.

Dubai Police also urged community members to exercise caution and resist alluring offers via anonymous links. They encouraged immediate reporting of any suspicious attempts via the "e-Crime" platform or by calling 901, which contributes significantly to reducing such crimes and protecting society.

Meanwhile, Global Village announced that the exclusive official gateway for selling packages for its new season is through the Coca-Cola Arena website.
