Dubai Police's "Sports Caravan" offers diverse activities during Fitness Challenge 2025.

The Dubai Police General Command, through its Sports Council, has launched the "Sports Caravan" initiative in collaboration with the Dubai Police Officers Club. This initiative features a variety of daily activities to coincide with the commencement of the ninth edition of the "Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025." The challenge aims to transform Dubai into one of the world's most active cities by encouraging daily participation in physical exercise for 30 minutes over 30 days, starting from November 1st until November 30th.

The "Sports Caravan" initiative announced its comprehensive sports program, targeting various police sectors throughout the duration of this year’s challenge. Operating under the slogan "Find Your Challenge," it coincides with UAE's celebration of Year of Community.

This year, the headquarters for the "Sports Caravan" will be at the Dubai Police Officers Club. Here, daily sporting events will be held for different general departments and police stations. In addition, there will be a launch of the “300,000 Step Challenge” via STEPPI application and organization of “Sector Challenges.”

Dr. Maryam Anas Al Matrooshi, Chairperson of Dubai Police’s Sports Council, highlighted that the "Sports Caravan" is recognized as a fitness center accredited by Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism. She pointed out that this year's participation includes collaboration with over 30 federations and sports academies. A diverse range of awareness-raising workshops and educational activities are planned for both internal and external audiences to promote a culture of sportsmanship and health in workplaces and society.

Additionally, she emphasized that the initiative seeks to involve all national sports federations to use sports as a means to foster closer ties between police forces and community members, enhancing communication values and openness aligned with national strategic goals to make sport a way of life.
