Dubai Police launches a specialized resilience training program aimed at preparing nationals for efficient crisis management.
In a significant initiative, Dubai Police have introduced a professional program focusing on "Resilience and Crisis Management." This ambitious undertaking aims to equip and prepare national cadres with the skills necessary to effectively tackle various crises and risks. By enhancing institutional readiness according to local frameworks and global standards, this program underscores Dubai's commitment to maintaining high levels of safety and security.
This program is classified under level four professional programs, developed in alignment with the National Qualifications Framework "QFEmirates," under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It comprises accredited courses designed in collaboration with the National Security Qualifications Center at the Ministry of Interior, international partners, and global organizations such as the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
Slated to commence in November 2025, concluding in December 2025, this initiative is part of Dubai Police’s strategic plan to nurture capable human resources adept at responding efficiently to emergencies. Highlighting its significance, Brigadier Badran Al Shamsi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic Affairs and Training, emphasized that this program represents a qualitative leap towards advancing national competencies in advanced security sectors. He noted that it aligns seamlessly with Dubai Police’s overarching goals to bolster institutional preparedness by building a globally recognized training framework.
