The Dubai Police General Command has entered into an agreement with Dubai Municipality to collaborate on investigating public and occupational safety incidents. This move aligns with the vision of Dubai's government to enhance community safety and protect lives and property.

The agreement was signed by Brigadier Mansoor Yousuf Al Gargawi, Director of the General Department of Administrative Affairs for Dubai Police, and Dr. Naseem Mohammed Rafie, Acting Executive Director of Environment, Health, and Safety at the municipality.

This partnership aims to delineate roles and responsibilities for both parties in case of related incidents, ensuring swift response times and effective investigations. It also establishes mechanisms for information sharing, report exchange, and field coordination to uphold the highest quality standards in safety.

According to the terms of the agreement, Dubai Police will be responsible for securing accident sites and reporting them within four hours upon detection. They will provide necessary statements and documents to support investigations.

Meanwhile, Dubai Municipality is tasked with responding within 24 hours to incidents within its jurisdiction while offering technical expertise essential for incident investigation and assessment.

Brigadier Mansoor Yousuf Al Gargawi stated, "This agreement is part of Dubai Police’s commitment to enhancing partnerships with governmental entities, uniting efforts to ensure a safe and sustainable environment."

He added that working with Dubai Municipality on public safety investigations reflects their dedication to improving response speeds and investigation quality in order to safeguard lives and property.

On her part, Dr. Naseem Mohammed Rafie emphasized that the agreement represents a strategic step towards supporting Dubai’s efforts in occupational health and safety.

"We are working side by side with the General Command of Dubai Police to develop response mechanisms for incidents," she remarked. "At the municipality, we are committed to implementing optimal public and occupational safety standards which enhance efficiency and sustainability in safety systems. This solidifies Dubai’s standing as a leading city upholding top security standards."
