Dubai announces free public parking for Prophet Muhammad's birthday holiday but excludes multi-story facilities and certain locations.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has announced that all public parking will be free on Friday, the holiday marking the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. However, this does not apply to multi-story parking facilities or Al Khail Gate (N.365) parking, where fees will still be applicable. The regular tariff system will resume on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

The authority also stated that Customer Happiness Centers will be closed during the holiday. Nevertheless, smart Customer Happiness Centers in areas such as Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, and the main headquarters of the authority will continue operating around the clock.

Furthermore, Dubai Metro’s Red and Green Lines will operate from 5:00 AM until 1:00 AM on Friday. Similarly, Dubai Tram services will run from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
