Under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, 223 distinguished educators from early childhood centers, schools, and universities across Dubai have been granted Golden Visas.

This initiative underscores the emirate's commitment to valuing education professionals who make significant contributions to society.

Unveiled on World Teachers’ Day last year by Sheikh Hamdan, this initiative acknowledges the essential role teachers play in inspiring and guiding the youth.

His Highness remarked, "Teachers and educators are the ones who light the way forward.

They inspire, guide, and give our children the skills and confidence to succeed."

Celebrating Education Excellence

The awarding of these visas serves as recognition of teachers’ dedication beyond mere classroom instruction; it highlights their influence in shaping societal values and enhancing Dubai's international reputation.

The golden visa is a testament to how much Dubai cherishes knowledge, integrity, and service.

Supporting the Education 33 Strategy

This initiative also aligns with Dubai's Education 33 (E33) Strategy aimed at empowering outstanding educators while attracting global teaching talent.

Out of 435 applications reviewed in this first phase, a meticulous selection process identified those most deserving based on professional achievements and community impact.

Aisha Miran from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority expressed that "teachers are at the heart of every successful education system.

She emphasized that this effort forms part of a broader strategy to elevate teaching within society.

Recognizing Diverse Talents

The breakdown of recipients included 157 school staff members, 60 university personnel, and six individuals from early childhood centers.

A wide variety of roles were recognized without considering demographics like nationality or gender to ensure fairness.

Special acknowledgment was given to candidates distinguished by national or international accolades or unique contributions within their academic fields or communities. With applications for another round now open until December 15th next year, Akhbrna News reports that interested educators can continue vying for this esteemed recognition.
