The Dubai Government Media Office stated through its official account on the X platform that daily posts claiming explosions, halted movement, or severe shortages of goods in Dubai are misleading and do not reflect reality.

The office clarified that verification shows most of these posts originate from accounts outside the UAE, often belonging to individuals living in different continents or thousands of kilometers away from Dubai.

It emphasized that misinformation spreads rapidly across digital platforms, but accurate information remains the most important, urging the public to rely only on official sources.

The office called on residents and citizens to follow official channels for reliable updates and to avoid sharing unverified content that may cause unnecessary concern, especially under current regional conditions.

This statement comes as part of efforts to enhance transparency, combat misinformation, and ensure that trusted information reaches the public while maintaining stability and confidence.
