The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in the United Arab Emirates announced the launch of a new digital platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI), enabling UAE residents to easily renew their visas.

Salama Platform for UAE Residency Visa Renewal

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in the UAE explained that the new platform, called "Salama," facilitates UAE residents completing their visa renewals within minutes.

It also added that residents can download the updated document directly from the platform, essentially eliminating paperwork.

The most important feature of the new digital platform is its artificial intelligence, which automatically recognizes the resident's details upon logging in. The platform immediately displays the status of their dependents' visas and highlights the days remaining before expiration.

Specifying Residence Renewal Duration

The platform also allows residents to specify the renewal duration, and the system will process the application immediately. The digital platform facilitates the renewal of residence visas for family members in just a few clicks.
