DEWA explores partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Group focusing on renewable energy.

Dubai: Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), recently met with Fadel Al Ali, Chairman of the Board at Majid Al Futtaim Group. The purpose of their meeting was to discuss enhancing collaboration in renewable energy, sustainability, and smart infrastructure sectors. This engagement underscores their shared dedication to advancing the comprehensive and sustainable development goals set by both the UAE and Dubai.

During their discussions, they explored ways to support the transition towards clean energy within the United Arab Emirates. This involves integrating innovative clean energy solutions provided by DEWA into Majid Al Futtaim’s projects. The conversation also included implementing advanced smart grid technologies and examining opportunities for utilizing artificial intelligence and data analytics to optimize consumption efficiency.
