Nadi Al-Sharjah for Classic Cars will showcase a 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II at the Arab Travel Market 2025 in Dubai, highlighting the cultural heritage of classic cars.
Nadi Al-Sharjah for Classic Cars is set to participate in the Arab Travel Market 2025, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center from April 28 to May 1. This event is part of the club's ongoing efforts to celebrate the heritage of classic cars and promote cultural and recreational destinations in Sharjah.
The club's participation aims to enhance Sharjah's status as a tourist and cultural destination for classic car enthusiasts, while highlighting the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum, which houses over 100 rare vehicles that represent significant milestones in automotive history.
Among the exhibits, the club will showcase one of the rarest and most luxurious cars in history: the 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II. This model epitomizes British engineering during the golden age of luxury automobiles and stands out as a mechanical masterpiece, combining unique design, meticulous craftsmanship, and powerful performance. Notably, only around 1,680 units were produced between 1929 and 1936, making it a globally rare model.
The exhibited vehicle boasts a six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 7.7 liters, a rear-wheel drive system, and a manual transmission with four speeds, alongside an exterior design crafted by the most renowned British car manufacturers of that era.
Dr. Mohammed Bin Batti Al-Hajri, Vice Chairman of the club, stated that the club's involvement in the exhibition aligns with its strategy to strengthen its presence in regional and international events. This serves as a platform to represent classic car owners in the UAE and the region while highlighting their pioneering efforts to preserve this unique mechanical heritage.
Al-Hajri emphasized that through its diverse participation, the club aims to project a positive image of Sharjah as a custodian of heritage and cultural identity across various domains, including the realm of classic cars. He noted that these vehicles document significant historical periods and reflect diverse lifestyles and cultures, with collectors and enthusiasts playing a crucial role in preserving and rekindling them to remain present in contemporary memory.
