Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has announced the suspension of classes today, Thursday, across all public schools at every grade level, as well as private schools operating under both Arab and foreign curricula, due to the unstable weather conditions affecting the country.

According to an official statement, Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei approved the decision after reviewing weather reports issued by the Meteorological Department, which highlighted expected rainfall and advised precautionary measures. The suspension applies to Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The ministry also confirmed that all practical examinations scheduled for today will be postponed. School administrations will be responsible for selecting alternative dates that ensure students’ convenience and maintain the smooth continuation of the academic process.

Emphasizing that the safety of students and educational staff remains a top priority, the Ministry of Education urged the public to follow its official accounts for any updates or new announcements.
