Col Palmer of Chelsea Football Club ends engagement with Connie Grace. The decision follows an emotional visit to his ancestral home.
Chelsea star Col Palmer recently ended his engagement with social media personality Connie Grace, as the pair unfollowed each other on social media platforms and deleted all shared photographs. This development comes shortly after Palmer returned from his inaugural visit to St. Kitts in the Caribbean, his grandfather's birthplace, following his team's Club World Cup victory.
Connie did not accompany the Chelsea forward to the tournament held in the United States. After clinching the title, Palmer expressed eagerness to reunite with her. Instead, upon arrival, he made a momentous visit to his ancestral land, where he received a hero's welcome, while on the same day, Connie posted images from her summer vacation in Miami.
The couple, whose paths first crossed six years ago through mutual friends, seemed inseparable. However, something within Palmer seemed to shift after his emotional and enriching journey to his grandparents' homeland, leading him to reconsider his future with Connie, a former salon worker, as a potential life partner.
Currently, Palmer is enjoying a summer break before resuming training sessions to face Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen, followed by hosting Milan at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea kicks off their Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace on August 17.
