"Our News" learned that Etihad Airways has made changes to the paths of a number of its flights that were scheduled for May 6, as a result of the closure of the airspace in Pakistan.

According to the information we got, the changes included the following trips:

Flight No. Ey284 heading from Abu Dhabi to Lahore

• Flight No. Ey296 from Abu Dhabi to Kratchi

Flight No. Ey302 from Abu Dhabi to Islamabad

All these trips returned to Abu Dhabi without completing their destination.

The data we obtained also indicates the cancellation of the following trips on May 7:

• Ey297 from Kratchi to Abu Dhabi

• Ey285 from Lahore to Abu Dhabi

• Ey303 from Islamabad to Abu Dhabi

The sources expected that the coming days will witness additional changes on the paths of some trips, which may cause the flight time to be extended.

In this context, Etihad Airways support teams are currently working to help travelers affected in rearranging their travel plans, while the company continues to monitor the situation continuously and coordinate with the relevant authorities to take appropriate measures.

Travelers whose flights were affected are advised to communicate with the reservation agents or the Etihad Aviation Communication Center via the number +971 600 555 666 from inside the Emirates, or visit the Etihad.com website or the company's application on the phone.

Etihad Airways also calls on its guests to ensure that their contact information is updated through the "Reservation Management" page to ensure the latest developments.

An informed source confirmed that the safety of travelers and crews remains at the top of the company's priorities, noting that the union regrets any inconvenience that may result from these changes.
