Bahrain Defence Force announced on Friday that air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 154 missiles and 362 drones targeting the kingdom since the beginning of Iranian attacks highlighting the scale of threats and rapid defensive response.

Bahrain Defence Force confirmed that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national security and protect Bahrain airspace emphasizing a high level of operational readiness and rapid response capabilities against aerial threats.

The General Command praised the combat readiness and continuous vigilance of its personnel noting that their advanced performance reinforces public confidence and ensures that Bahrain airspace remains fully protected.

Authorities urged citizens and residents to strictly follow official safety instructions including avoiding damaged sites and suspicious objects and refraining from filming military operations or debris locations to maintain public safety.

The General Command clarified that targeting civilian infrastructure and private property using ballistic missiles and drones constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter.
