In a renewed demonstration of Arab humanitarian solidarity, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation in the Kingdom of Bahrain has dispatched an urgent 100-ton relief shipment to the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with Operation “Gallant Knight 3” and the Emirates Red Crescent in the United Arab Emirates.
The aid was transported through Al Arish Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt in preparation for entry into Gaza via the Rafah border crossing, ensuring swift delivery to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
This humanitarian initiative was carried out under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Foundation, and guided by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The move underscores Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people amid the ongoing humanitarian challenges facing Gaza.
The 100-ton shipment includes a comprehensive package of essential supplies, comprising healthcare items designated for women and children, staple food products, as well as medicines and critical medical supplies aimed at supporting healthcare services in the Strip. The assistance seeks to alleviate humanitarian suffering and provide immediate relief to families enduring severe living conditions.
Engineer Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, stated that the urgent aid reflects the Kingdom’s noble humanitarian vision and its continuous efforts to stand by the Palestinian people. He emphasized that delivering the shipment during Ramadan carries profound humanitarian significance, reinforcing the values of compassion and solidarity that characterize Bahrain’s people. He affirmed that the Kingdom will continue fulfilling its humanitarian mission and supporting just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, by extending meaningful assistance to Gaza during this critical period.
