Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has reaffirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain supports all efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability across the region, emphasizing that the country’s policy remains firmly rooted in the pursuit of peace and coexistence among nations.

The remarks came at a time of heightened regional tensions following attacks that targeted several Gulf capitals, including Manama, resulting in civilian casualties and injuries.

King Hamad stressed that Bahrain’s approach is based on adhering to a path of peace while working to safeguard regional stability.

He highlighted that the Bahraini people are known for their peaceful nature and their deep belief in the principles of tolerance and coexistence, values that continue to guide the kingdom’s domestic and foreign policies.

The king’s statements followed the recent Iranian attacks that struck Manama and other Gulf capitals, incidents that caused both human and material losses.

The attacks triggered strong reactions across the region, with officials warning of the risks posed by escalating tensions and emphasizing the importance of maintaining regional security.

Bahrain stated that the Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom and several Gulf Cooperation Council countries caused damage to civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, private property, as well as economic and oil facilities.

According to the Bahraini government, these actions represent a serious violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, international humanitarian law, and the fundamental principles of good neighborly relations.

The kingdom also warned that such attacks pose a direct threat to both regional and international peace and security.

Bahrain reiterated its commitment to working closely with regional partners and the international community to reinforce stability, protect civilians, and ensure that vital infrastructure remains safe from future threats.
