The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced that its air defense systems continue to operate with high efficiency in countering successive waves of Iranian attacks described as terrorist and hostile, revealing that since the beginning of the escalation the forces have successfully intercepted and destroyed 141 missiles and 242 drones targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting both the scale of the security challenges and the advanced defensive capabilities deployed to safeguard national airspace.
The command emphasized that these achievements are attributed first to divine support and then to the exceptional combat readiness and constant vigilance demonstrated by Bahrain’s military personnel, noting that the operational performance reflects a high level of professionalism and discipline, while the continued success in neutralizing threats reinforces public confidence in the armed forces’ ability to protect the country and respond decisively to any potential risks.
It further expressed pride in the dedication and sacrifices of its personnel, stating that their actions on the ground embody a strong sense of national duty and commitment, and reaffirm that Bahrain’s skies remain secure due to the relentless efforts of a fully integrated defense system that operates around the clock to ensure safety and stability across the Kingdom.
In this context the General Command urged all citizens and residents to strictly adhere to safety guidelines and exercise maximum caution, stressing the importance of staying away from affected areas and avoiding any suspicious objects that may pose risks, while also calling on the public not to film military operations or document debris impact sites in order to prevent security complications or legal consequences.
The statement also highlighted the critical need to rely solely on official sources and government media for accurate information, warning against the spread of rumors that could undermine public security, and underscored that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian infrastructure and private property constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, representing a direct threat to regional peace and security.
