The Bahrain Defence Force announced that its air defense systems continue to confront successive waves of Iranian attacks targeting the Bahrain.
In an official statement, the force confirmed that its air defense units have intercepted and destroyed 86 missiles and 148 drones that attempted to strike the kingdom since the beginning of the attacks.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force emphasized that the armed forces remain at the highest levels of readiness and combat vigilance.
Officials highlighted the strong performance and efficiency of the air defense personnel who have been actively protecting Bahraini airspace and responding to threats aimed at destabilizing the country.
As part of precautionary measures aimed at ensuring public safety, the command urged citizens and residents to remain in their homes and avoid going outside unless absolutely necessary.
Authorities also called on the public to exercise maximum caution and stay away from any damaged locations or areas where debris or suspicious objects may have fallen.
The leadership also warned against photographing military operations or the locations where intercepted debris has landed.
It stressed the importance of refraining from spreading rumors or unverified information on social media and encouraged the public to rely solely on official sources and government media outlets for accurate updates and safety alerts.
In its statement, the command further emphasized that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian facilities and private property constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter.
Such indiscriminate attacks, it noted, represent a direct threat to regional peace and security, reaffirming that Bahrain’s armed forces will continue their efforts to defend the kingdom’s airspace and safeguard national stability.
