The Bahrain Defence Force has announced that its air defense systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed a large number of aerial threats targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain since the beginning of the Iranian attacks.

According to an official statement issued by the command and reported by the Bahrain News Agency, air defense units detected and destroyed a total of 75 missiles and 123 drones that were launched toward Bahrain during the ongoing escalation.

Military officials confirmed that the air defense systems were able to respond rapidly to these threats, preventing them from reaching their intended targets and minimizing potential damage within the country.

The statement also stressed that the use of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles to target civilian sites and private property constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law as well as the principles outlined in the charter of the United Nations.

Authorities described the attacks as indiscriminate and dangerous, warning that such actions pose a direct threat to regional peace and stability.

Officials emphasized that targeting civilian areas and infrastructure could further escalate tensions across the Gulf region and undermine broader regional security.

The Bahrain Defence Force reiterated that its armed forces remain on high alert and fully prepared to confront any additional threats that may arise. Military units across the country continue to closely monitor developments while maintaining operational readiness to respond swiftly to any potential risks.

In addition to the military update, the command issued an urgent advisory to citizens and residents across Bahrain, urging them to strictly follow safety precautions during the current situation.

Residents were advised to remain inside their homes and avoid leaving unless absolutely necessary, while also exercising maximum caution to ensure their safety and that of their families.

Authorities also urged the public to stay away from any locations that may have been affected by the attacks and to avoid gathering near damaged sites for safety reasons.

Finally, the Bahrain Defence Force emphasized the importance of relying solely on official sources for information and updates, warning against the spread of rumors or unverified reports that could cause unnecessary panic among the population.
