The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced that the kingdom’s air defense systems continue to operate with high efficiency in confronting successive waves of what it described as Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain stating that the vigilance and preparedness of its personnel have enabled them to respond effectively since the beginning of the aggression and ensure the protection of the country’s airspace and national security.
According to the official statement issued by the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force the air defense units have successfully intercepted and destroyed a large number of incoming threats since the start of the attacks as part of the ongoing hostile actions directed at the kingdom with the statement confirming that a total of 114 missiles and 190 drones launched toward Bahrain have been intercepted and neutralized by the defense systems protecting the country.
The General Command emphasized that these operations demonstrate the high level of operational readiness and advanced combat capability of Bahrain’s armed forces highlighting the continuous vigilance and professionalism of its personnel who remain fully committed to safeguarding the kingdom’s airspace and protecting citizens residents and critical infrastructure across the country during the ongoing security situation.
The Bahrain Defence Force also expressed pride in the dedication and discipline shown by its servicemen praising their advanced combat readiness and their constant alertness in fulfilling their national duty while stressing that the operational efficiency displayed by the defense forces reflects the strength of Bahrain’s military preparedness and reinforces public confidence that the kingdom’s skies remain protected with the help of God and the determination of its armed forces.
The General Command further urged all citizens and residents to exercise the highest levels of caution for their safety calling on the public to stay away from damaged locations and avoid approaching or touching any suspicious objects that may result from interception operations while also stressing the importance of not filming military operations or debris impact sites and refraining from spreading rumors while relying only on official government and media channels for verified information and updates as it reiterated that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian sites and private property constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter and represents a direct threat to regional peace and security.
