Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is expanding its flight frequency to Baku and Tbilisi due to rising travel demand.
In a bid to enhance regional connectivity, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has announced an expansion of its flight schedules to Baku, Azerbaijan, and Tbilisi, Georgia. This move reflects the increasing demand for affordable travel options between the UAE and these popular leisure destinations.
The UAE’s pioneering low-cost carrier revealed on Monday that it will now operate six non-stop flights per week between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport and Baku’s Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The revised schedule includes flights every Tuesday through Sunday.
Enhanced Regional Travel Opportunities
Furthermore, starting August 7, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will boost its service to Tbilisi International Airport with eight weekly flights, featuring double daily services on Thursdays. This increase aims to provide greater convenience for leisure travelers as well as those visiting friends and relatives (VFR).
Acknowledging this development, Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, stated: “The increased frequencies to both Baku and Tbilisi highlight our commitment to expanding our regional network while offering enhanced convenience, flexibility, and value to our customers.”
The CEO added that these vibrant cities are favored by UAE residents and visitors alike. The expanded schedules are set not only to strengthen travel and tourism connections but also ensure a more seamless travel experience.
This strategic expansion aligns with Air Arabia Abu Dhabi's ongoing efforts to broaden its reach across high-demand leisure and cultural destinations. Recent additions include direct routes to Almaty in Kazakhstan and Yerevan in Armenia.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A320 aircraft. In support of its growth strategy and rising passenger demand, plans are underway to add two more aircraft by year's end.
Tickets can now be booked via the airline's website, call center, or through authorized travel agencies.
