The official private school calendar for the 2025–2026 academic year has been made public by the Dubai government. In addition to facilitating planning for parents and schools, this step attempts to guarantee that all educational institutions adhere to the minimal number of school days.

  • The start of the academic year is April 7, 2025.
  • Commencement of summer vacation: June 30, 2025
  • Resuming classes on August 25, 2025
  • Beginning on December 15, 2025, winter break
  • Return date after vacation: January 5, 2026

March 2026 is when the academic year concludes, if 182 instructional days are completed.

  • Commencement of spring break: March 23, 2026
  • Return date on April 6, 2026, after spring break
  • Return of MoE Curriculum schools: April 13, 2026
  • End of academic year: June 26, 2026, at the latest

It is anticipated that September-starting schools would conclude their current academic year (2024–2025) no earlier than June 27, 2025.
