The Fuel Price Follow up Committee in the United Arab Emirates has approved the official fuel prices for March 2026, confirming the updated rates for petrol and diesel across the country.
The announcement comes as part of the UAE’s monthly pricing mechanism, under which fuel rates are reviewed and adjusted in line with global market indicators.
According to the committee’s decision, the price of diesel for March 2026 has been set at AED 2.72 per litre.
Diesel remains a critical fuel for the transportation, logistics, and industrial sectors, making its monthly pricing update particularly significant for businesses and commercial operators throughout the country.
As for petrol prices, Super 98 has been fixed at AED 2.59 per litre, while
Special 95 will cost AED 2.48 per litre. Meanwhile, E-Plus 91 has been priced at AED 2.40 per litre for the month.
These categories cater to a wide range of vehicles operating in the UAE market, from high performance cars requiring premium fuel to more economical vehicles designed for standard petrol grades.
The UAE’s fuel pricing system is based on a structured monthly review that takes into account international oil price movements and average global costs.
This transparent mechanism ensures that domestic fuel prices remain aligned with global energy market trends while providing clarity and predictability for consumers and businesses.
The announcement of March 2026 fuel prices is particularly relevant for residents, motorists, fleet operators, and companies managing transportation expenses.
With private vehicle usage and commercial transport playing a central role in daily life and economic activity across the Emirates, fuel pricing remains a closely watched indicator.
The newly approved rates will take effect from March 1, 2026, and will apply at all licensed fuel stations across the UAE.
Through this update, the Fuel Price Follow-up Committee has formally established the official fuel tariffs for the month, in line with the country’s ongoing commitment to market-based pricing and regulatory transparency.
