Trends Research and Advisory has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi School of Management, aiming to deepen collaboration in research and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Trends, and Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of the Board at the Abu Dhabi School of Management, formalized the agreement during the Second Trends AI Dialogue at the center’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The move underscores a commitment to strengthening ties between both institutions and integrating their scientific and academic efforts. Through this partnership, they seek to broaden their collective knowledge base, draw upon shared expertise, and enhance coordination-ultimately supporting their joint strategies and advancing mutual scientific objectives.
Joint Field Research Initiatives
The agreement lays out plans for cooperation across several domains: joint research projects; public opinion polls; applied field studies; and expert exchange programs to foster professional growth among researchers from both organizations. In addition, it includes provisions for organizing joint events such as conferences, seminars, discussion forums, workshops, lectures, as well as exchanging publications and granting mutual access to databases and available research materials. Collaborative implementation of training programs also forms part of the agenda.
Dr. Al Ali highlighted that this partnership stems from a determination to build robust relationships serving rigorous academic inquiry. Dr. Tayeb Kamali praised Trends’ global reputation for high-quality research, noting that the agreement will allow both sides to benefit from shared expertise while enabling direct engagement with the business community-a valuable opportunity for developing leadership skills in real-world settings.
