Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman gives the research that is supposed to change the rules for landlords and tenants in Saudi Arabia more time. This will make sure that the real estate sector's interests are balanced and that the rules are followed.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, has granted a 90-day extension to complete a study essential for developing new regulations governing landlord-tenant relationships in the Kingdom.
The study aims to ensure fairness in rental transactions, protecting beneficiaries from fluctuations, and fostering an attractive investment climate.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the decision came after recommendations from the Real Estate General Authority, under the Ministry of Housing.
“This is to meet regulatory requirements for the proposed solutions, ensuring their application across all residential, commercial, and office assets and achieving a balance between the interests of all parties in the real estate sector,” the SPA stated.
