The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority and the Department of Economic Development have announced the successful completion of their electronic linkage project.

This achievement follows the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two entities, aimed at enhancing government integration and streamlining procedures.

The agreement was signed at the Authority's headquarters by Eng. Ismail Hassan Al Balooshi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, and Dr. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Shayeb Al Naqbi, Director General of the Department of Economic Development.

This partnership seeks to improve the efficiency of government services and expedite customer processes by enabling secure and instantaneous electronic exchange of data and information. The agreement further allows both parties to develop joint operational mechanisms while clearly defining each entity’s roles and responsibilities.

Eng. Al Balooshi emphasized that this digital linkage aligns with the Authority’s strategic direction towards digital transformation and enhanced government integration. He highlighted that the initiative will help reduce customer journey times while providing real-time information sharing between departments.

Dr. Al Naqbi stated that signing this agreement is part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to implement best governmental practices and strengthen institutional partnerships. He affirmed that collaboration with the Transport Authority supports Ras Al Khaimah Government’s push for digital integration and greater operational efficiency.
