Dubai Airports has confirmed the partial resumption of airport operations starting March 7, with a number of flights operating again from both Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.

The authority stated that flight operations will gradually return as schedules are carefully restored while maintaining strict operational coordination to ensure a smooth and safe recovery of air travel.

Dubai Airports urged passengers not to travel to either airport unless they have been contacted by their airline to confirm their flight status.

The authority explained that flight schedules may continue to change during the current period and advised travelers to stay updated through their airlines before heading to the airport to avoid unnecessary congestion or delays inside terminals.

The airport operator also emphasized that it is closely monitoring developments in coordination with relevant authorities while maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and security.

Officials noted that protecting passengers and airport staff remains a central priority while managing the gradual return of aviation activities in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Emirates announced the resumption of its flight operations, stating that passengers with confirmed bookings on flights scheduled to depart after midday today may proceed to the airport to complete their travel procedures.

The airline added that this also applies to transit passengers passing through Dubai, provided that their onward connecting flights are operating as scheduled.

Emirates also explained that customers can review upcoming flight schedules and check seat availability through the dedicated link provided by the airline. The company confirmed that it continues to closely monitor the situation and will adjust its operational schedule accordingly while reiterating that the safety of passengers and flight crews remains its top priority and will never be compromised.

At the same time, Flydubai announced that it has resumed operating flights to and from Dubai.

The airline advised travelers not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking and encouraged them to regularly check the status of their flights to stay informed about the latest updates regarding their upcoming journeys.

Flydubai further confirmed that it continues to coordinate with its aviation partners and closely monitor the evolving situation to ensure the safe and efficient operation of flights.

The airline emphasized that the safety of passengers and crew members remains its highest priority as flight operations gradually return to normal.
