Marriott International has confirmed intentions to increase its presence in Saudi Arabia by building three new hotels in Madinah, therefore strengthening its allegiance to the nation's developing hotel industry.

 Signing an agreement with Knowledge Economic City (KEC), the worldwide hotel behemoth will be developing the new buildings within the Holy City, therefore providing more than 1,200 hotel rooms.

Comprising three of Marriott's well-known brands Residence Inn by Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton, and Courtyard by Marriott these hotels will be part of KEC's ambitious master-development project, In line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and assist the travel and hotel sectors, the new hotels strive to meet the increasing demand for excellent lodging in Madinah.

Expected to include 456 guest rooms, this facility, Courtyard by Marriott Knowledge Economic City, will offer two dining outlets, many conference rooms, a fitness center, and large public areas where guests may relax and mingle.
Set in a laid-back yet chic setting, Four Points by Sheraton Knowledge Economic City will have 558 modern bedrooms, a range of culinary options, meeting spaces, and a fitness facility.

Marriott Knowledge Economic City Residence Inn Providing a more residential feel, this property will have 250 studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with expansive bathrooms and kitchens. It will also feature a gym and a grab-and-go store open around-the-clock.

The hotels will be situated in KEC's Islamic World District, a cultural center with a museum, cultural center, and plaza displaying the variety of Islamic traditions from all around the world. Along with sports, leisure, education, and healthcare services, this area will also house several residential, retail, and commercial projects.

Designed to mix technology, knowledge, and sustainability, KEC's 6.8 million square meter construction spans Furthermore conveniently accessible to visitors, the construction will be directly related to the Haramain Train Station, which links Madinah with Jeddah and Makkah via a high-speed railway.
