The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has confirmed that all national airlines operating Airbus A320 aircraft have now begun carrying out the required inspection and maintenance procedures. The announcement comes as part of the GCAA’s ongoing follow-up of the emergency airworthiness directive issued by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which affects Airbus A320 fleets worldwide.

The authority stated that it is closely coordinating with EASA and the concerned operators to ensure full compliance with all safety and airworthiness requirements, guaranteeing the safe and uninterrupted operation of the fleet without impacting flight schedules across the UAE.

The GCAA also emphasized that all operating carriers remain committed to implementing any technical updates issued by aircraft manufacturers or international regulatory bodies. Meanwhile, the UAE’s regulatory oversight system continues to ensure the immediate and effective application of safety directives, in line with the highest global standards in the civil aviation sector.
