Etihad Airways continues its remarkable year of growth by inaugurating four new routes to Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, and Hong Kong within a span of three days. This strategic expansion further strengthens Abu Dhabi’s standing as a major aviation hub, contributing significantly to the UAE's aviation growth projected for 2025.

The expanded network not only fosters inbound tourism and trade but also introduces thousands of additional seats in and out of Abu Dhabi. This move facilitates better access for travelers from Africa and Asia eager to explore the emirate’s rich cultural heritage, stunning beaches, luxurious resorts, and vibrant event scene.

The inclusion of these routes extends travel options for UAE residents and visitors alike across diverse leisure and business destinations in North Africa and Asia.

New Routes from Abu Dhabi:

  1. Tunis (November 1, three weekly flights): Enhances Etihad’s presence in North Africa, meeting the rising demand between the UAE and Tunisia.
  2. Hanoi (November 2, six weekly flights): Establishes the first direct connection between Abu Dhabi and Vietnam’s capital, bolstering trade and tourism links.
  3. Chiang Mai (November 3, four weekly flights): Unlocks Northern Thailand for travelers from the Middle East and Europe via Abu Dhabi.
  4. Hong Kong (November 3, five weekly flights): Restores connectivity with one of Asia’s top financial centers alongside relaunching Etihad's codeshare with Hong Kong Airlines for improved regional access.
