Emirates has announced two options for customers affected by the temporary suspension of its flights to and from Dubai, following the decision to halt all operations until 15:00 UAE time on Sunday, March 1, due to regional airspace closures.
The move comes as part of operational measures aimed at addressing the impact of current airspace restrictions while providing passengers with clear alternatives.
In a statement published on its official website, the airline confirmed that customers scheduled to travel within the next 72 hours may choose to rebook onto an alternative flight. Passengers are permitted to reschedule their journey to their original destination within up to 10 days from the initial travel date.
Travelers who booked through a travel agency are required to contact their agent directly to arrange changes, while those who booked directly with Emirates are advised to get in touch with the airline through its official communication channels.
Emirates has also made available the option to request a full ticket refund for affected customers. Passengers who booked directly with the airline may submit an online refund request form via the official website.
Those who purchased tickets through a travel agency must contact their agent to process the refund in line with established procedures.
The carrier urged all customers to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport. It further advised passengers whose flights have been canceled to contact their travel agency for rebooking assistance, or to reach out directly to Emirates if the reservation was made with the airline.
The announcement underscores Emirates’ efforts to provide structured and transparent solutions for travelers during the temporary operational suspension while ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
