Dubai Duty Free has set a new sales record in October with Dhs805.6m, making it the retailer's highest-ever for the month.
In an exceptional display of commercial success, Dubai Duty Free has reported October sales reaching a historic peak of Dhs805.6 million ($220.7 million). This achievement marks not only the highest-ever figure for October but also represents the eighth time this year that monthly records have been surpassed.
The impressive sales exceeded the previous October milestone of Dhs692 million ($189 million) established in 2023. Additionally, this accomplishment ranks as the third-highest monthly performance in Dubai Duty Free’s history, following its all-time high of Dhs821.4 million ($225 million) recorded in December 2024.
The growth reflects a remarkable year-on-year increase of 19.31 percent, significantly outstripping passenger traffic expansion at Dubai International Airport by over 10 percent.
Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, expressed gratitude to Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum for his steadfast support and praised the dedication and hard work of his team in catering to the demands of the increasing number of travelers.
