Flights between Egypt and four Gulf states have resumed as airspaces reopen.

Minister of Civil Aviation, Dr. Samih Al-Hifni, closely monitored the flight operations from the operations and crisis management room at Cairo International Airport. This comes amid ongoing field follow-ups on flight activity at Egyptian airports, particularly after the airspaces of several neighboring countries had been closed due to recent regional developments.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation announced the gradual resumption of flights between Egypt and Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia , and the United Arab Emirates , following the reopening of their airspaces. The ministry highlighted the ongoing coordination and precise monitoring carried out in conjunction with all airlines operating in Egyptian airports. This ensures the regularity of operations and a swift response to any changes while adhering to the highest international safety and operational efficiency standards.
