Dubai's luxury hospitality brand, Shanghai Me, is set to launch an exquisite dining venue at the historic London Hilton on Park Lane, promising to bring a unique Pan-Asian experience to the city's culinary scene.

Fundamental Hospitality, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality group, is set to expand its international footprint with the opening of Shanghai Me this July. Located on the 28th floor of the storied London Hilton on Park Lane, this venue will be the group’s third in London.

This venture reflects the group’s ongoing strategy to bring UAE-born concepts to major global cities. Shanghai Me will join Gaia London and La Maison Ani London in bolstering the group’s presence in the UK.

“Launching Shanghai Me in London is a significant milestone for us, and I am thrilled to reinvigorate such an iconic Mayfair site,” said Evgeny Kuzin, Chairman and Founder of Fundamental Hospitality.

“The 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane is one of the city’s most prestigious locations. We aim to transform the space into a dynamic dining and entertainment destination with our unique style,” he added.

This new venue occupies a space once home to the Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows, with a rich 60-year heritage that includes hosting The Beatles during its time as the first Trader Vic’s in the 1960s. When constructed in 1963, the London Hilton on Park Lane was the city's first skyscraper hotel.

Shanghai Me will offer a Pan-Asian cuisine crafted under the expertise of Chef Izu Ani, famous for creating GAIA and La Maison Ani, alongside Chef Yukitaka Kitade, the global culinary ambassador for the concept. Diners can anticipate dishes such as Yellowtail Carpaccio with Black Truffle and Cantonese Roast Duck with Foie Gras & Caviar on the menu.

The restaurant, accommodating 120 guests, will feature two private dining rooms offering spectacular views from Hyde Park to the Thames. Additionally, guests can enjoy Bund, an exclusive bar and lounge, complemented by DJ entertainment into the early morning hours.

Since its inception in 2011, Fundamental Hospitality has curated a diverse portfolio of 13 concepts, including GAIA, Alaya, and La Maison Ani, as well as franchise collaborations like Cipriani Dubai and Cipriani Dolci UAE. The group currently operates venues throughout the Middle East and Europe, with plans to expand into the GCC, the UK, and USA markets.

Shanghai Me exemplifies the burgeoning international reach of the UAE’s hospitality industry, as Dubai-based companies apply their expertise from the competitive Gulf luxury market to build global brand presence.
